Got fustrated with the eyes yesterday, so figured I’d take some eater crappie…the problem??? No crappie! 
We tried the Hwy 63 culvert and many fallen timber stands, all with no luck. The only crappie I saw came from a couple guys still fishing behind the wingdams right up on the riprap. On a side note, if you into carp fishing w/ your bow, the small lake just south of Hwy 63 and the culvert is holding literally hundreds of carp…many of them putting on a show on top of the water. I’d hope the panfishing increases here shortly. Good luck.
