Newer to the Metro Area for ice fishing. Have mostly fished Walleyes this winter, looking to get into some panfish and crappies this weekend. Any lakes that I should try out? Just don’t know the area to well, willing to travel up to an hour for a good lake. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks! Have a good weekend!

I like Big Marine a lot. It’s got quality fish, yet it’s generally a tough enough nut to crack to keep the onslaught of houses away.

Are vehicles still driving on it? Any places to avoid when driving on the lake?

Rausch627 if you add your city in your profile you might get some better answers of lakes that are next to you.

Medicine lk. Stop by at Harry’s and talk to joe. Tonka is a good option aswell. Ull have to break it up in one bay at a time. The boats shops can give good info. Most area are drivable follow the roads
