I have a pan cam and the pan feature does not work the best, it seems to work 1 out of 5 times I swipe my finger across the screen on my Galaxy S4.
So I was curious if there was anybody in the know that could tell me if there are any app updates coming?
My issue was with the pancam motor, not the software. I offered some ideas for app updates though (full screen mode, auto-pan every 30 seconds, etc) Marcum said they would put them on the idea board…
Mine does the same thing. I called Marcum and they issued an RMA. I also told them the app crashes all the time. He said they update the app all the time and a new version was out. On the Android, if a new app version is available, it shows up in the Google play store. I removed and re installed the app and still have the same version.
I’m glad I returned mine for a full refund..
I am using Apple with mine.
The app is not an issue.
I can double tap on the window and get full screen.
I turn my Pancam on and pair with my iPhone first.
Use this as my remote.
Than I turn on my iPad and double tap the screen and I gave a 10″ picture.
My son’s android didn’t work at all.
That is more about the Android than the Pancam, not fan of androids. They are toys, not tools.
I am pleased with the picture compared to my other cameras.
I have had issue with having to restart to reconnect.
This maybe because I had 4 units connected.
I will change my password and limit to just me.
They do have some issues to work out but I am confident they will.
