My local has a sign in their yard that they accept used pallets to reuse. Might be worth a look

Is that little Subi able to handle all that?

My Subi definitely wouldn’t hold much, but I’ll have men there with trucks!👍🏻😁

    Sharon,
    FYI –
If you were from Wisconsin you’d just stack them on the roof and bungee em down. waytogo

    EP,

Call me a redneck but you can make cool things out of pallets!

Here are couple ideas… I built this woodshed for our fire pit area and my boys love having them to build forts and clubhouses with dad!

We also host a Neighborhood Halloween bonfire so feel free to drop them off if you really want to get rid of them.

Of course Sharon gets first dibs if she wants them.

The pallets would rot away probably before you could get the DNR to approve you putting them in any lake. JMO

Do they have a fire ring we could burn them in at the gtg??
Or is that considered burning trash in that part of the state??

If you’ll drop em off, I’d be happy to burn them up.

I see them used around my local area all the time. Both state and county DNR, sometimes in conjunction with private groups providing additional man power.
The pallets do need to be assembled into some type of structured fashion. Just dumping them in on the lake bottom is not going to be helpful.

I don’t recall seeing any fire rings down there. That would be a fun way to keep warm though! 🔥

There is a huge sign in a building parking lot somewhere in Eagan on the way down to Rochester that said they buy pallets. When I saw that, I thought maybe they were in a short supply right now?

Quite a few places will buy them but they have to be a certain grade. The pallet for my door was a 100 dollar bill, pallets for quikrete is 15 bucks
