On or for what. Really depends. Painting camo on a boat is different then painting camo on a wall.
I did my duck boat desert camo and it turned out great.

Kitchen cabinet faces. 100yr old white cabinets are tough to look at.

    Something like this….

Looks just like you cut a pattern or two and paint over and over and over with preferred colors?

Yes. I paint the base color solid. Then paint over stencils 100 different times. If you go on Amazon there are 100s of camo stencils.

So on that, I would paint the base solid baby blue or what ever that is. And then stencil paint the black white and grey

You could cut the shapes out of sponge and use them. I did a wall in my basement
    that turned out pretty good.

I like the idea of it softening the look, but does it create a more textured surface?

Got a couple Rugrats whos cleanliness gene has yet to be found, what is attractive about the pattern in general, may hide well the splashes of jelly, cake batter, bubble tea and every other concoction they come up with in there. But I need it to be a smooth as to wipe clean.

    Thanks for thought fellas.

No not so much. Just as long as it’s laminated. Bigger the sheet the better. But you can tape the sheets together as well.

Put your rugrats to work and have them cut out blotches of paper. Use a heaver paper where the paint wont soak thru. Put a base layer down and have them put it on with double sided tape. Spray paint and add another layer down without removing the previous layer. When done remove all the layers and add some layers of clearcoat to smooth everything out. Sounds like a fun family project. Make sure to share pictures. Also try it on a scarp board first to get an idea of the patterns you like.

If it comes our poorly I will borrow you my power scrapper.

Are you doing the cabinet doors and face frame? Are your old cabinet doors flat or panel?

I googled aqua camo and that was a pic, figured as good as any. I’m tempted to buy a pair for a future gift.

If a lady wore those pants and had firetiger patterned fingernails on I think I’d ask her to marry me right there. 😆

There can be a lot of variances in the shape. Use caution when solicitation of a template

Hm good points randy. I’m utterly lost in confusion now, dam choices!

And to satisfy any ladies who may want to see patterns as well….

    lol

Went and got some paint chips tonight, might even take the doors off. Family may have concerns after I’m done. Oh hel! they did way before this.

I would take the doors off for sure. It makes it so much easier.

“That literally would be the worst decision I have ever seen in my entire life”. – my mom and sister on aqua camo in kitchen.

Women in my life kinda hinted not a good idea after dinner here last night. Rethinking situation.
