I know this isn’t fishing/hunting related so I hope I don’t offend anyone but here goes!

It’s Vikes/Packer week! This hits me as a MONSTER game mostly because of the new stadium but also a couple teams that are 1-0 and are predicted to win the division. I am an admitted Viking fan and hope to see our new QB in action this week. I will say Vikes 27 Pack 24 on a 54 yarder’ with 3 seconds left on the clock for the W (but I know it could go the other way also!) Thoughts?

I like rooster’s score prediction of 27-24 Vikes win. It will very close and I also would love to see Sam at the helm!

Always a close, tough game. I suspect this years series will be split. I give this game to the Vikings with Green Bay taking there home game.

Being a long time vikings follower, I hope for the best but expect the worst.
-new stadium, I would expect the pack to get the first TD & the first win, just so they have more ammo to rub our noses in.
-New stadium, I hope we smoke them about 35-7

I wouldn’t be surprised if RR’s score is correct (27 – 24) with the Vikes winning. I think the Vikes will score 4 TDs (3 defensive) but Walsh will miss an extra point wide left. -)

It’s a huge game to be sure. No doubt, the Cheeseheads will be looking to spoil the new stadium party. Not that I blame them, we’d be looking to do the same.

Have to say, based on watching the games last weekend, I’m not seeing a Vikings win unless the vikes get a LOT tighter on offense. The score from last weekend’s game is hiding the fact that the Vikings scored twice with the offense taking a powder break on the sidelines. I wouldn’t be counting on that kind of “offense” in this game.

The Pack’s defense might be a question mark, but so is our ability to exploit it. Again, if the Vikings are going to win, we’re going to have to mainly do it with the D keeping the Pack off the board and keeping our O on the field.

Hate to say it, and hope I’m wrong, but here it is:
    Pack 17, Vikings 10.

Don’t care if the Vikes go 2-14 on a season as long as those 2 wins are against the Pack !

Fan drinking purple coolaid here….. Hope to see Petersen have a breakout game. 200+ yards on the ground. Vikes squeak one out late 23-20.

p.s. Really like the play calling during pre-season. Hope Norv pulls a few tricks out of his hat.

The Pack are getting the Vikes at the right time imo. If Bradford knows the offense well enough and plays well Vikes win easily. However, on such a short time frame I don’t think he does, and the offense struggles again. Thankfully the Packers Defense is bad too. Packers O vs Vikes D should be fun to watch and a battle of strengths. I would never predict a Packers W, so I think the Vikes squeak one out in a defensive struggle 17-14.

speaking of the Vikings D line how about Danielle Hunter!!! That dude looks like a beast in the making! Cant wait for a line with him on one side and Griffen on the other with Joseph and Floyd rushing up the middle!

After one game he’s already in mid season form.

Last Sunday Hill completed ten passes that traveled ten yards or more before being caught.

Bradford has accomplished that…..once in his career.

Sunset is 7:15pm plus a half hour. Game starts at 7:30. No spotlight needed. I certainly am not going to rush out of the bow stand to watch the kick off

All the Pack has to do is stop AP, they will be keying on him and forcing the Vikings QB (whoever it is this week) to beat them. Not looking good for the home opener, 34-17 Pack.

The Packers will not give up 2 touchdowns to the Vikings on turnovers. The Titans won every part of that game except the turnovers. Yards, time of possession, first downs, the Vikings will not beat the Packers with that kind of effort.

the Vikings NEED TO QUIT handing the ball off to Peterson on 1rst down 99% of the time. that first game the titans defense had 8 guys up front on every first down.

the pack secondary is mediocre at best, whoever is QB needs to exploit that on first down. if the vikes can keep Green Bays offense off the field they will win!!!!

Pack fan here: I think we are going to get crushed. The stadium is going to be too much for Rodgers to handle IMO. The Vikings D is going to disrupt everything we do on Sunday night and I just don’t see it going our way at all. Vikes 30 Pack 10

That’s the key right there, IMO.

The Vikes need to come out on offense WITH Peterson in the game and do everything BUT handoff to Peterson. Pass left, pass right, run a freaking flea-flicker. Who cares. Just do everything except the predictable. Force the GB defense off the jam the middle game plan and maybe even catch them guessing run and getting burned a couple of times early on, and it’ll be a different game.

If the Vikes run the predictable offense, it’s going to be a long game. Green Bay thinks they know what’s coming.

The Vikes play calling pre-season was not predictable IMO. Last game I can agree they played the first half like a gambler on his last $20 in Vegas…. Must have been due to TB not in the game and Petersen in?

the Queenies hand it to the Pack, beat them thoroughly, spring board into the Super Bowl and take it all. I’m always wrong on my predictions, hope my streak continues.

67-0 Pack. You guys act like ap is just amazing… Like he’s almost comparable to a switch hitter in baseball. He better try to avoid running into Juice Mathews or he’ll have another thing coming. And that’s all I got to say about that.
