I agree TT does not value OF linemen very high in the draft. BUT a 1st round pick doesn’t mean he won’t get hurt. The Packers problem right now is injuries and lack of quality depth in the line. IF the line is healthy it is pretty good.

Anyway, how’s things in Waunakee? I lived in Madison for some 30 years. Where do you fish? Doah, sorry off topic now…

Been tough to get out the last couple years with kids in sports and taking care of elderly parents. When I do fish it’s Lake WI or Lake Mendota along with an annual trip to Canada and Lake Erie.

I’ll tell you one thing, Sam Bradford looked unbelievable today. He is one tough quarterback

this comment did not age so well. Tough? I’d argue to say hes the exact opposite of tough with his extensive history of injuries, especially this phantom knee issue hes got now

you consider getting injured a sign of weakness? They play football and are human, injuries happen. Tough is standing in the pocket and getting your a** kicked but you stick it out and complete plays. Bradford did that and then some and injury has nothing to do with it

… yes, I do consider that a sign of weakness. Try googling the definition of “toughness”. Who knows, you might learn something (I’m guessing you might) waytogo

I googled the definition of “toughness”, this is what came up.

Brett Favre says…”so what, I’m in a walking boot, I can still play!”

Brett playing through injuries in the NFC title game is a great example of toughness. Bradford taking this last week off after some phantom knee injury is not. And take a chill pill? Coming at you unprovoked? Lol jester rotflol

Since 2011 the packers have invested exactly one top 3 (round) pick in an offensive lineman and it shows. I guess when you are busy trying to plug all the holes on one of the worst defenses in the league you have to pick your battles.

Until both starting tackles went down their offensive line was one of their strengths.

It’s a bigger indictment on Ted Thompson that he’s spent so many high draft picks on defense and they’re still performing as poorly as they are. This year, 1st 4 picks all defense. Last year and the year before it was 3 of the first 4 picks.

Or is that more of a reflection of Dom Capers? coffee

Sounds like the “tough” guy is out another week. Visiting knee specialist Dr. James Andrews. Whenever his name is mentioned a “out for the season” line normally follows. Would LOVE to see the Vikings sign Kaep only to watch everyone on this site lose their minds rotflol

Absolutely boggles my mind that Dom Capers still had a job. He is the longest consecutively tenured defensive coordinator in the league, but his team finishes at or near the bottom every single season. He, Ted, and McCarthy continue to waste Rodgers’ career. If Rodgers had Belichick he would have 3-4 rings by now

Not turning cheez heads thread to queens thread but favre would tell Sammy to man up. I’m sure his knee doesn’t feel good but would’ve taken them holding favre back to keep
Him off the field. Lifelong vikes fans and favre fan!
