Ya, that took me back! Actually I looked up the game I was talking about and it was 11-19-1973

It isn’t my first nfl seaon but it will be my last. It isn’t a packer viking nfl sports problem. This is a so called family site and we have adults on this site insulting people for the way they live and choose to live with. One post gets block and the next day he posts the same jpg among others and you act like it isn’t a big deal. He should be gone… It isn’t 1973 anymore sorry guys. I pm’ed you eel because all you take away from a post is to use spell check? Really? Then we have Jeff who pm’ed me back basically saying – well they did it first… way to set a good example. This site is nearing Facebook the only thing missing is political topics. If you want to make fun of people have at it but I am done coming here to read about it.

I no you guys don’t care but just to make it official – I am out!

Just so you understand, you can just ignore the types of threads you don’t like. If you don’t like the football stuff just ignore it, don’t open it. I think there probably is portions of the site you do like?

Actually there are very few Viking Packer threads here. The main reason is it got pretty rough here a few years ago. Many guys quit posting in them because like Ford vs Chevy and Trump vs Hilary there were going to end the same way every time.

That said, if you do go you won’t be the first or last. If you stay find the subjects you want and ignore the rest.

Lubie, just to be clear, a lot of the guys participating in this thread have been posting here for many years. We know each others tendencies and buttons to push. We’re having fun. Does it get a little heated sometimes? Sure, so what.

Like Dutchboy said, don’t open the door and walk in. Enjoy the thousands of of great, informational threads here.

By the way, the Packers will lose today!

Ahh this post takes me back to a time when I got into it with RR over a similar type thread. 3 kids in 3 years has mellowed me a bit so I don’t get quite as worked up as back then.

Like it has been stated, there is way more useful information on here than heated sports “debates”. I wholeheartedly disagree with your assessment that IDO is like Facebook without the politics. Sure we don’t all get along every day, but if we did, life would be boring. I don’t read much on here that leads me to believe this isn’t a family site. In fact the reason why there are squables and arguments over nothing is because it is a family-like community. Maybe you will cool down and come back. If not, good luck and I hope you find that Internet forum with perfect decorum.

Haha yeah the Brewers do suck…not sure of the relevance to the conversation, but I do agree that there are no active players with a WS ring. Maybe CC should become a player/manager like back in the day…then then would have a two time WS champ on the squad!

Plenty of former Brewers with some rings though. I believe the Kansas City Royals had 4 players and 2 coaches when they won it last year. Sadly the Brewers have never had a shortage of talent, but they just can’t be consistent enough to get over the proverbial hump from year to year. Always seem to be a step behind the Cardinals and now behind the Cubs franchise as well.

We still have Badger football and basketball though.

ahh yes, the brewer dilemma, we did have the Braves before they were stolen from us. They won a world championship for us in ’57. So yes Milwaukee does have a baseball championship and a much longer baseball history than some people think. What else you got off subject ?

And the Bucks won a world championship in 71′ so we got that working for us too

Minneapolis Lakers won 5 titles from 1948-1954. OK lets be done with this
