    B-Man

You must have read 4 other threads as well – You fall down and hit your head ????
I was just giving my assessment of the Packers season – if your view of it was different – I guess we have different opinions.

The Packers were exposed for what they were this season: the worst 13-3 team in NFL history. That is what the 49ers called them right after the Vikings eliminated the Saints.

I’m not sure how anyone can quantify a team as the worst 13-3 team ever when as of yesterday they were one of the 4 teams left in the tournament and had already won in the playoffs and there record before san Fran was 14-3 but hey it makes for good reading and smart talk. San Fran is a good team and my hats off to them. On the Packer side in two years the entire organization was revamped. A young g.m. who isnt afraid to use all means to improve the team. A young coach who has the buy in on all his veterans. A great cap situation with plenty to spend again this year and a g.m. who drafted pretty good the last two years and spent very wisely in free agency. I like were it’s all going! Haters be hating. Packers are back in the thick of things. Looking forward to next season!

Got to give you that waytogo
The Packers are in a better cap situation than our Vikings, Unfortunately for the Vikings they have to improve by subtraction where as the Packers can improve by addition.
Would certainly want the shoe to be on the other foot here.

I see the Packers lately and think they and Dallas are on similar waters. They use the “coaches” game plan, the first half, then let their QB’s take over the 2nd half, after they are in a deep hole. Just sayin’, that’s what I seen in Dallas all season and similarities in GB. I don’t think Lafluer is a better coach than McCarthy either.

Rodgers has some flexibility to change the call at the line, but he doesn’t call the whole 2nd half, McCarthy is a excellent coach, but he got so predictable in Green Bay, and his play schemes and concepts were stale, It was time for a change.

The whole division (minus the Lions) could be good at any given time. Since 2017 it’s gone, what, Vikings-Bears-Packers? Pack turned it around awful fast, but with this potential free agent QB class (guys like Rivers, Brady, Brees, etc.) the analysts & experts have been saying the Bears could be a good QB away from making a good run too. Plus they’ll now have the 3rd-place schedule next year; the NFL does a pretty good job of evening the playing field with that.

Note: I forgot the Bears will be without a first-rounder because of the Mack trade, so immediate young help may not be possible, they’ll have to get bang for their buck in FA.

Saw this thread revived today and noticed a post of mine not too far back. Guess we don’t need to worry about the scenario I posted and quote here about huh.

Are you saying the Bears getting Foles makes them a contender in the weak Central? If so then yes but not moreso then everybody else including the Lions.
It’s April, only Godell & ESPN care whats happening in the NFL.

I’m not saying that at all. I had posted in January that some experts were saying that the Bears could be a good QB away from contending. My post was bringing that old post up and saying we won’t need to worry about that because NFC North defenses will only be facing the likes of Trubisky and Foles.

Isn’t Foles the guy who put up like 80 points on Zims defense in 13 minutes?

Really? Who does rally care about the NFL?

Just a person asking that doesn’t have a lot of interest in it.
