I was wondering if the no wake zone in red wing is active during the winter? I normally fish wabasha area in summer/fall and know that they don’t enforce that rule during low flow times.

LOL! If “now” is “low flow times”, yes they do.

Because of the fishing, the Sheriff Boats of two counties and the CO’s of two states watch it closely. More so on weekends.

But that’s really a moot point. It’s no wake all year and just because no one is watching isn’t a reason to break the law….IMHO.

What BK said. But…I will say there are days out there it feels like I’m the only one observing the rule. Oh well.

The Wabasha no wake zone is active from Memorial Day though Labor Day. It has nothing to do with enforcement or flow. If you are on the water outside of that time range the rule is not applicable.

Thanks guys. I’ve only been a river fisherman for a couple years now. Still learning the ropes.

Basically from just above Baypoint Marina (Hay Creek) to the High Bridge.. Then a smaller No Wake in front of Coville Park, just beyond the extent of the entire park..
Another Small one in front of Mr Sippi’s in backchannel as well, from bridge to closing dam
