    Was the walleye seminar held last night?

    I’ll do my best to get some form of the presentation with explanatory notes posted here by the end of the week. The short answer to your question about the Pool 4 Walleye population are as follows:

    -2015 Gill net catch rates were up from 2014 and above the long term (1984-2014) average for Pool 4. This is mostly due to a strong contribution from the 2013 year class that is 14-18.5″ as of the beginning of October.

    -Good numbers of Age-1 fish from 2014 (12″-15″) should continue to provide numbers of legal fish for anglers through 2016.
