Going to head down tomorrow. I’ve stayed away with the high water recently. Anybody been down and had any luck? I’ll probably pull cranks for a bit and also try some live bait rigs.

We caught some fish yesterday trolling flicker shades on P2. Water has come down a lot the last couple weeks or so. Tried fishing wingdams but the flow might still be a little high.

I fished the area above the confluence on to the dam Sunday morning for a few hours and it was slow. Lots of small fish and just one nice sauger and SMB. When the water was higher, there was a decent bite going on…or maybe I need to do a better job finding them!

Sunday I struggled trolling seams but Monday trolling the same seams produced many walleyes. The rain Sunday night put a lot of leaves/grass in the water.

The fish defiantly wanted Smash Shads over Flicker Shads.

Out for a few hours today and it was slow again. Fished from the dam to the confluence using live bait and trolling. A few small fish but the water was really moving fast and dirty. Maybe some consistent weather will help. Water temp was 64-67.

Lots of action but not a lot of size for myself and an IDO’er last night. Water is high and fast but not a lot of debris floating down.
