First time posting but I spend quite a bit of time on P2 so thought it was time to contribute. If you see a guy in white Lund with a 90 HP Johnson and a Talon say hi.

I was surprised how few boats were on the water. Fishing was very good in the morning, slowed down a bit in the afternoon as the sun came out. Picked up a couple walleye over 20″ trolling raps downstream at about 3.0 MPH. Switched over to current seams in 10-14′ of water with hair jig and minnow and did very well. Put about 20 walleye and sauger in the boat between 15″-18″ with a few more over 20″ including a 20″ sauger. Also picked up a few smallmouth, pike, and catfish.

Water temp was about 63 with pretty high water and very muddy conditions with all the rain.

Sounds like a good day on the water! Thanks for the report.

I was by the dam and confluence and it was slow. I would guess you were further downstream?

I did OK by the dam in the morning between about 7-9am and then it got slow. I just kept hitting different seams from the dam to the confluence and picked up fish in various spots.

It was interesting because I picked up a few trolling fast but when I was jig fishing the only time they would hit was with a very slow, almost stationary jig.
