Owen's first deer

    Want to see a guy tear up? Be with him as he walks up on his son’s first deer. I got to be there for my older two but today was Owen’s day. Owen shot his first deer, the buck and shot the doe 30 minutes later. Both were double lung shots. I’m very proud and he is super excited. Two does came out early. A while later this buck came out of the woods and chased the older of the two does around the field and into the woods. Thy eventually ran 10 yards from our stand towards the river and were gone. A while later the buck can back. Owen shot the buck and 30 minutes later shot the doe when she came back. Both were double lung shots. Both deer ran less than 50 yards and died 20 yards from each other.

    It’s not. Although the trail cam pic is right in front of that bow stand. The one I passed had a 5th point on the left side andish was a little wider.

    Probably one of the most memorable moments of a young man’s life. Congrats to Owen and to the father who got him there.
