Here a two….we live across the street from Diamond Lake in south MPLS. This is in addition to the snapping turtle I moved back to safety from Portland Ave earlier this week.

Saw these woodcock babys by the house. Very cool looking little guys!

Dang Bigpike, those are really cool! I’ve never found baby woodcock before.
Oh, those are so cute! I’ve not seen baby woodcocks either before. That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing. 
Back to the geese. I have never seen so much goose SH** as I have the last two weekends at our cabin. At least two large family’s dine on our small lawn during the week. I have to start shoveling the moment I step out of the truck when we arrive for half an hour just to make sure we dont drag it in. And of course my dogs will eat it!
I spend the next two days picking up pieces I missed.
Visited my buddy this weekend.
Last week he had 3 little coons keeping him occupied. Little monsters. 
He let them loose and picked up 100 pheasants.
I was using the heat gun to check their temps when I realized they chase a laser pointer like a cat! That was entertaining.
He’s doing an awesome job, yet to lose 1. That’s about impossible.
No pics of the pheasants but here’s his coon buds. He was keeping them in his chicken coop and one picture he’s feeding them an egg. can’t make that up!
