    depending on when it was built the insulation could be a big factor… our place had 1 inch the 3 outside walls when we bought it.. that changed real fast!!!

    Luckily it’s well insulated already, so there’s just a few final steps to making it year round with running water. Even if we use it this winter with no running water it’s a paradise to me. I never thought we’d have our own little slice of paradise and my own dock!! I can’t wait for spring and to get my boat up and running again!! waytogo yay toast

    Sharon, we’ve had our cabin for many years. In the winter we bring lake water up for dishes etc. Drinking water for obvious reasons. In the we have slopbuckwts we carry waste water out and dump in the woods. Just ideas. Our drains are easy to take apart and reconnect.
