I bought a XT1200 Lodge and im looking for advice on some lights. I have been eyeing the Northern Bright Lights with a dimmer. Does anybody have any pictures of them installed in an otter Lodge or similar house? Any other brands/ideas on ways to light my house other than a lantern? Thanks for your help

    Dan,

I am in the same boat or Otter in this case. The LED’s I have in my Lodge are about 2 years old and have failed in a few spots. The Northern Bright Lights setup with the dimmer switch have been the best I have located so far. Their lights seem to be worth the extra money for a few reasons. The battery clips on the end of the wire (most LED strips I have seen have 30GA wire), the dimmer makes it so I can put the 4′ run on the top bar and just have one set of lights and the durability of them. That’s what I am ordering and I have not come across a better setup.

Not sure how to rotate the picture, used the lights last weekend while watching spring bobber on a tough crappie bite. Tactic was swimming plastics and making them chase while most of the strikes are only detected pushing the spring up slightly. We would have never seen at prime time of the day.

You can get dimmers and a remote for the ebay strip lights.
