best fish house money can buy. IMO its the most versatile of the Otter lineup, providing the most interior space while being able to fit in the bed of most any truck. I wish I had one. I have the Pro Cottage. Used it about 15x last year. Only different between the cottage and Cabin is size (16 sq ft vs 22 sq ft). Excellent house. I cant say a bad thing about it. Only knock you will hear from people is that they are heavy compared to other portables. They are heavy because they are built tough and will withstand anything you throw at it. If you need that kind of durability you put up with the weight (build yourself a smitty sled to help with pulling by hand). If you don’t need/want that then a lighter shack might be for you. Buy with confidence.

Oh and if you do buy one do some research for tips on assembly. There are some quirks that are not mentioned in the instructions that will help you which people have posted on sites like this and others. I wrote up something about it last year or a few years back you can find by searching for “otter cottage”

Second this! Best shack out there. The only issue I’ve had is the screws they have you put into the frame bars have vibrated out. Switched to a nut and nylock bolt, all good.

I know it’s not exactly the same, but close enough…I have an xt pro lodge that lives up to my every expectation. Great quality and functionality!
