Well…I was lucky to snag an otter xt 1200 resort last week and it got delivered yesterday. I also purchased otter cover, pivot hitch, rod holders, and hyfax runners. Does anybody have any experience putting all of this together? Any tips or pointers that the instructions don’t state that will help me? Please let me know. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I knew it was big when I purchased it, but I guess I was still shocked by the actual size when it was delivered. My 3 year old son could sleep in the tub if he gets tired! ha ha. Very roomy!

Leave all fasteners loose until entire unit is assembled and then tighten. Also it’s easier to assemble the seating before the outer structure.

    Put the runners on first.

on the resort, the seats are on a bracket, no crossbar like the lodge or smaller shacks. no need to worry about those till last since they clip on the back and front of the sled.

Allow fabric to stretch for a few days after initial set up. If possible leave house setup for a few days.
