I have read a few posts on the canvas losing the inside black coating very easily pretty much each trip out more comes off. I have nothing rubbing on the canvas at all just coming off from setup and take down… I read on a post that otters fix is to spray it with plasti dip . Anyone try this? Does the xt650 canvas fit?

I used a similar product in an older Clam before I bought my xt650. It served the purpose but wasn’t as good as new I would say. Definitely use in a well ventilated area if you go that route.

I would assume the XT650 canvas would fit but I think your problem there will be finding the canvas only. Last I knew Otter was not offering just the canvas anymore.

Really? I hope they would offer it.

Like I said, that was the last I knew and I certainly could be wrong. It’s happened before.

Maybe James or one of the pro staffers would have more insight for you.

I am going to use this shack for a long time regardless love the size of it and having the bench. It just doesn’t look good on inside looks like pin holes . I take it that is why they redesigned them.
