My Otter sled cover is 14 years old or older. The bungee dried out from catching to many fish. Looked at a new cover and was in the $80 range. Amazon had 30ft of 1/4″ bulk bungee for $8. Took apart 6″ of the cover where the bungee is, taped the end of the new bungee to the end of the old dried out bungee after cutting it and pulled the new one through the cover 10″ at a time with 2 people. Sense the old bungee was stretched out I guessed on the new bungee length. Used Hog rings to hold the 2 ends of the new bungee, stitched up 6″ hole I made to do the replacement and POW like new cover.
