For you guys out there that fish with hubs I’m wondering if there’s any modifications you’ve made to your sleds to haul your auger, hub, bait, tackle flasher etc. I have an otter resort hub coming and am just curious as to what you guys have done. Thanks!
I have a couple of holes drilled in the rim of the sled on each side near the rear that fit the hooks on bungee cords. I lay the hub across the sled (making a “t” shape) after packing my gear in, and bungee it to the sled. Not fancy, but does the job of maximizing the space available in the sled and also keeps things from bouncing out of the sled.
I do this with a cabin hub. So, depending on how much longer the the larger models are, and the size of your sled, it may not work as well for you.
