Can anyone tell me how heavy these otter seats are? Checked the web site and can find the weight of the bench but not the seats.

I would like to know the difference between the bench and the other seats as well. I have the bench in my lodge and would like to go to the bucket seats if there is a significant weight reduction.

I think the buckets weigh more to be honest with you. Unless you plan on just using 1 seat in the 2 msn shack. I like the buckets for movement and fish ability myself however.

My bench seat frame is made out of steel and is heavy, it’s an older model Otter T600. I agree on the bucket seats for the ability to move them where you want.

This is what I’m thinking, that why I would like to know the weight so I know how much I will be pulling by hand

if you went with seats and put them in another sled for your buddy to pull provided you have two sleds with enough room for everything. I have the seats in my otter lodge and thinkin i would rather have the bench, often times my nephew and brother will tag along and the bench would be nice to have, cant justify buying another seat for those times lol. also the bench is nice to have as a table when changing jigs etc…

i should add that i rarely pull it by hand only time i do is first ice and its typically glare ice which makes pulling everything easy.

Slow morning….just went out and weighed a seat from my Otter cabin. Seat is 5 pounds and the plastic base is 2 pounds. Note: weighed with an old Chatillion scale – should be marginally accurate. Changing from bench to seats might entail also replacing the cross bar. Haven’t seen the bench set-up so I might be wrong. Swapping it with someone might be the best idea.
