What is the most efficient method to fold down/collapse the pro cabin into the sled after a day of fishing? Any tips?

This is my first flip over and figured there must be a preferred method or set of steps that most of you use.

    Thanks for the help!!!

Load any large items you have inside your house into your sled, I leave the door shut then collapse the back poles first working your way around to the front last.

I set mine up with the back into the wind, the wind will help to bring your canvas into your sled as you collapse it. I then like to make sure my windows are not between poles or on/under anything that will poke a hole in them.

    Thanks for the quick replies.

Do you find you typically have to go around the sled once collapsed and try to fold any remaining fabric into the sled or is that not normally required?

You should always tuck the fabric in. Prevents road rash and damage to the fabric. A travel cover is an excellent add on.

My otter is customized and the auger rides on the custom bench seat. A stock cover does not fit, so a blue tarp and large bungee is needed. Way cheaper than the stock cover anyway.

On the flip side of this coin of the setup of this shack, Do you guys put all the wind poles in when setting it up? I had an old Frabill Predator and never used them in that but it wasnt thermal either. Just curious about that. If you do use them where do you position the front one so it doesnt interfere with the door…? I would assume its placed right where the zipper meets the end of the door.

I set up/collapse the same as above. As for poles, I bought those spring clips for hanging broom handles and screwed them into the back of the bench seat of my Otter Lodge. Poles snap in and stay in place instead of bouncing around sled.
