If you didn’t, do it. They have great service.

Calling is a great idea but it torques me when a company lists an email address for customer service support and they don’t bother to contact you. Take it off your website if you’re not going to answer in a timely fashion. Rant over.

It took them around a month to reply to my warranty email. Now I just need to figure out how to box up the shack to send it back to them when I already got rid of the original box.

I’m surprised to be hearing of bad quality from Otter. I thought they were always were top of the line products?

I just bought the Otter Vortex Lodge pop up and am very impressed with its quality so far. Now I have the regular without the full door so maybe its a problem with those?

I don’t own anything otter but being in a couple book face groups there seems to be ALOT of quality issues this year with the poles, stitching. I saw a few times on there the stitching fail on hubs the first time they used them and the people contacted otter and they said that’s not under warranty since it did not happen during shipping which seems like BS

Was one of those groups the “Trick you hub” page? After I bought my pop up I had a buddy tell me to check out that page. After reading all the horror stories on the new Otters I immediately had buyers remorse. But glad I didnt return it because I love the thing and have been impressed with it compared to other Pop Up’s I have been in.

I have a resort hub, I got for Xmas last year. I fricken love that shack. Has been awesome.
Sorry to hear you guys having issues. A buddy bought the otter big rod box. When it came to his house it looked like they dragged it from maple lake to Stacy. It was beat up and scratched to hell. Otter told him to pay for return shipping. And restocking fee. So 60 plus bucks to return a junky rod box he paid 150 for. Pretty damn sad.
