Otter cabin hub fit in otter auger sheild?

    Curious if anyone has transported their hub shack in the otter auger sheild. My auger sheild mounts to my monster box on my atv so could be a handy way to transport it considering I now put my auger at front of atv with a digger rack

    I had that idea a couple of years ago with an Otter Lodge hub. It worked fine in a warm garage with a warm dry shack. Out on the ice, different story. I lost the frozen fight. Back to the pull tight rope locks for me.

    Thanks for the info. Think the otter cabin hub would fit easier as it’s a smaller shack?

    It is sure worth a try. I ended up using my auger shield for my Rapala rod case and two Eskimo chairs.
