    Has anyone been fishing on lake Osakis? I will be there for the week of June 14th to 21st. I have had good luck in the past catching waleyes.

    Just got back from Osakis last week.
    You should be hitting it a good time.
    Moon bar is heating up and also give half mile bar a shot.
    Caught quit a few nice crappies & sunnies in Milller bay.

    Hello,
    I got the chance to hit Osakis Friday afternoon. Pretty decent pike action on the bars during the day. try the night bite for eyes on the bars.

    Snagger, how was Osakis for you? I may give it a try next week for gills.

    Scott the gill fishing was great in 6’to 8′ water. Northerns were hungry and the bass fishing was super. good luck!

    Opening weekend was so-so!
    Lots of pike, 2-3lb.
    Only three walleyes caught in my boat.
    A 20″, 17″, and a 15 1/2″.
    Water temp was 52 degrees and clear water which made for an evening bite and thats when we caught them.
    Memorial weekend they will be bighting better for sure!

    3 eyes over 15 is pretty decent! Last year it seemed we caught lots of 14.5inch fish.

    Hey Snagger. I am also from Owatonna and I will be on the lake the 16th – 20th. I hope to meet some of you guys. I am staying at a friends grandfathers cabin.
