I will be fishing on Lake Osakis for the first time ever in the 2nd week of July, July 9-16. Staying at Holiday Resort on the North end of the lake. I prefer Walleye and panfish, but don’t mind an occasional pike. I would very much appreciate any help on fishing locations, fishing reports, etc. I do have the Fishing Hotspots map to work from. Thanks in advance.
Jake, you should be in for some good eye fishing at that time. Any number of the bars can produce nice catches during low light periods. The pike bite should also be fantastic, trolling or casting shoreline and weeds.
I have not done alot of panfishing there but the best seems to be on the northend of the lake using drop shot rigs. Search the area for suspended fish or baitfish.
