orono lake ……..elk river

i drive by this body of water every day, last week i noticed alot of lake bottom exposed. did they or do they drain this lake or lower the water level somehow for a reason?????????????

I won’t have time this fall to get up there but that can be a great time to fish the downstream waters, predator fish wait for all the baitfish fleeing. Not sure what or where those spots may be, but I’m sure they’re somewhere.
