Organizational Tips

Well I just sold the Clam & gas auger.
Moved into an Otter & converted to an electric auger.
My biggest weakness is trying to maintain consistent organizational skills. My definition of that is ample rod options inside the shack, keeping an open floor plan to ensure ease of foot traffic in/out. Heating & lighting without mishaps.
Past years I’ve always just buried everything in the sled-
Auger,Buddy Heater,Graph, spare battery’s, rod case, minnows, food….plus all your buddies gear & then toss the cover on & hope all is secure.
I’ve experienced times when graphs and rod cases have worked themselves out of the cover & bounced across the ice.
This year I’m attempting an Otter Monster Box, I’m hoping I’m able to carry all gear within this storage unit, with minimal gear being transported inside the sled if any at all.
I’ve also added rod holders inside sled to have spares available while fishing.

Curious on others experience & ideas

Bring what you need and leave all the other crap in the truck or at home.

Have you looked at Otter Sportsman’s Caddy?

    Yes minimal gear is essential.
    Hence organization would be simpler.
I’m more or less looking for ideas for storage & transport from others.

Sorry, I was replying to Ductboy.

Yes I’ve looked at the Caddy by Otter. Haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet, they look awesome.
