Actually won’t come till mid summer. Blueberries from Michigan, cherries I believe from Washington and don’t remember where the peaches and pears come from.

The in-laws lake place is in Grand Junction, Michigan. The lake is surrounded by blueberry plantations. We go around July 4, bring back 20-30 pounds of fresh picked berries. My wife makes fantastic blueberry coffee cake out of the frozen berries. You will enjoy the blueberries.

where is that at buck-slayer???? I don’t ever recall the Menards ads advertising that??? the one up here in waite park anyway.

this place we get ours from is an Amish family, they’ve gone threw the fruit and pick out bad stuff and replace it. only negative thing I can say is they went from accepting checks to requiring straight cash, but I have no issue with that either.

I prefer blackberries and boysenberries to blue berries so I have 12 plants in the backyard. My fruit trees are apricot, nectarine, peach, plum and 3 apple trees. The peach and nectarine are pretty prolific producers. The others are still younger trees and waiting for them to come into their own.

I get a flyer every year. Not sure how I got on the list. They don’t go to every Menards. Hudson is one stop don’t remember where in the cities that they go. They start selling approximately around 8am but sometimes start earlier and it’s not unusual for there to be 70 people in line but it goes fast. I will post when I get this year’s info.
