I have a 1875 lund impact. Fairly large flat platform on bow for mounting locations. I am mounting a 8 series humminbird. I assume most guys have mounted the bow unit just off to the side of there trolling motor. I purchased the 2.5″ ram mount to ensure in rough waters the unit does not move. Just wondering where you guys have placed unit up on bow that works well for you. Looking to place it so I have optimal vision of screen from front of boat but not having unit in the way of fishing. PLEASE post pictures if you have them and like your setup. Thanks.
