Opinions on ice rod/reel cases.

    Eskimo has a new case out that looks sweet, kinda a smaller Stryker case.

    That does look pretty sweet. They have 2 models, one for 32″ and under rods and a 42″ model.
    I might snag one of them for my son when he goes with his buddies. I have the Scheels (plano) hard sided case is nice for going across LOW when everything takes a beating, but bulky for day trips. Now he is just putting them in a pail.

    I have some 15 year old Stone Legacy cases that they do not make anymore that I like.

    Used to be that you could get hard sided gun cases that worked very well and were cheaper than purpose built rod cases. I think the market figured out that glitch.
    I could only find this example. But if you go into their “view similar products” tab you will see some interesting stuff. Under $30 stuff….
