Opinion on Dash Electronics

I recently mounted a Helix 10 SI on both my console and my bow. Both units are Ethernet together. I-pilot only, no link. I am contemplating mounting another Helix, possibly a 7 Sonar/GPS on the console and Ethernet that with the other ones. Obviously I need a box and all the necessary adapters/mounts. The reason for this is if I see something on the Side Imaging unit, I can mark a way point, and see it on the 7 without having to jump screens on the 10, or I could have a smaller GPS screen on the 10 with SI screen. Is my thinking rational on 2 units, or should I just stick with the 10 and settle for the Hot Keys in jumping from screen to screen? I would also have to jump my Lakemaster and my Navionics card from the 10 to the 7 and vice versa depending on where I am fishing that time. I do go to Canada often.

What are your guys thoughts on this? I am looking at around $800 to do this set up.

Any thoughts or other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I like screen real estate on the dash so I run two units there. I’m a lowrance guy and have an HDS8 and an HDS5 on the dash. The 5 is only used for mapping and is linked via ethernet to the 8 so they share waypoints which sounds like what you want to do.
The 8 shows traditional sonar, DI, and SI. If I see something on the SI I can mark it and it pops up on the map of the smaller unit.
