Recently loades Navionics app on I-phone 5. Went to a local lake. Made 4-tracks. Went back another day and was unable to retrack my routes or create new ones. Probably operator error. Wondering if someone who has successfully useed the app would be willing to converse with me sometime on the phone? Thought it might be easier than typing back and forth.
    Thanks

Try this and if doesnt help lets chat

With our new enhanced Track modules you have more features available for reporting and Playback.

You can follow saved Tracks by accessing them through your Archive (Menu > Tracks or Menu > Archive > Tracks). Select the Track you want from there by tapping on the name an you will see it in the Playback mode. You can then follow it on the screen of your device using your GPS.

It appears to work sitting in the house. Obviously I need to go back to the lake and try it. Thanks for your help, I will keep you informed as to my progress. Still may want to speak to you in the future. Thanks again for your time.

    Kirt,
Tried using the app again yesterday. Still couldn’t get it to work properly. Checking if we could talk some evening when it’s convenient for you.
    Thanks, Dennis

I purchased the navionics us and Canada for my android this year. I was trying to follow along with this and noticed that my navionics said “256 days left”. This was in the upgrade section. Is navionics a subscription now?

Did your maps receive the “sonarcharts” after an upgrade? If so, I think this is what the 256 days left is referring to. I think in one of the regular upgrade patches, they gave everyone one year of the SonarCharts for free and after that we’ll have to pay of it. Mine says 140 Days left, because it depends on when you downloaded that particular upgrade. I think after your days are up you’ll have the option to buy or go back to using the regular Navionics charts. I’ll probably buy the SonarCharts depending on the price, they’re pretty nice.

Yeah one day I discovered the sonar charts and thought it was pretty cool. I had no idea if I was supposed to have it or not but You mush be right. What’s the difference exactly? It just seemed to me to have more detail

How soon will Navionics be on Windows Phone? They make it for the desktop (can’t remember the last time I lugged that out on the ice).
