Opener on Gull

    Anyone make it up to gull for opener? Heading up next weekend and curious how the bite was

    Was out there Saturday for the opener. right away in the morning we had water temps in the low 40’s. Went on the search for warmer water and found more active fish. Couldn’t seal the deal on any walleyes but the pike were sure hungry.

    In law duty in Iowa for opener. Haven’t heard from my local friends either. Might get up Saturday for a bit but definitely Memorial day weekend for me.

    Snuck out Sunday for a few hours. Didn’t get out long enough to give any kind of report, other than what a great day to be on a lake bow

    Water temps in the channels 63, main lake at 58.

    We braved the wind and colder temps Saturday and got a 16.5 and a 25, it was pretty brutal out there. When the sun came out in the afternoon the northerns sure became active. All but 1 had to go back with the new slots. Zorbaz got the best of us Saturday night so no fishing yesterday
