I just got mine 2 weeks ago. I got the ice fishing bundle. I won’t be using it in my boat until April.

I bought a minn Kota trolling motor bracket and I’m hopeful this will work. I have a lund 18’ explorer with a 90 hp tiller. I think I will be able to put the rod in mount just like I put my trolling motor in, but on the other side

I tried 2 ways. One was on the bow mount I liked it but tried hanging it off the side. I ended up putting it back on the bow mount.

Sorry couldn’t up load all pictures in 1 post.

For the terrova I used precision sonar mounts https://theboatdoc.com/precision-sonar-mounts

For the one I made to go on either side of the boat I used 3/4″ CPVC and I pounded in 1/2″ EMT inside of that to strengthen. I was able to run on either side of the boat – I didn’t care for this as much as I thought I would so I went back to the bow mount.

As far as the electronic set up – I am running 2 93sv+ one at the bow one on at the console – a through hull 2d transducer and the UHD side can transducer. The panoptix is ran to the UHD black box and links the units and all transducers together. I can view any of the transducers on either of the units and the same transducer at the same time as well.

Did you see the new perspective view now with the livescope – it looks amazing.

Thanks Brando, Nice setup. How do you like the precision mount?

Does it’s intended job. I am able to run the TM fairly freely with out tangling the wires. The mount clamps down nice and evenly and has held under pretty rough conditons.
