My friend and I would like to try some river walleye fishing this Saturday, but haven’t spent much time on Pool 3, none with me using my boat. I have an Alumacraft Tournament Pro tiller with a 70 hp, no kicker motor, and a bow mounted trolling motor. If someone would like to come along with us and help with suggestions of where/how to fish the river this time of year, that would be great. I have fished blow the dam, and around the Y, and along some of the more rocky shorelines before as a guest in other folks boat, so I have some basic starting points. But I am not familiar with wingdams, if time of day means much for walleye on the river this time of year, or what they prefer for their dining pleasure this time of year.
Any advice would be helpful if you are’t interested in coming along.
Thanks
Dave
