I will be heading down to Pool 4 to give sturgeon fishing a try on Sunday 9/13, I have a spot or two in my boat if anyone wants to go. Full Disclosure, I have zero experience fishing for sturgeon but I have 4 rod/reel combo’s outfitted for big kitties that I think will hold up just fine.
I plan to leave my house in the West Metro around 1030, can meet you in the twin cities and ride down together or meet at Everts. I plan to fish until dusk.
If you still have an open seat available I will take you up on the offer. I have never fished pool 4 for sturgeon but fish the saint Croix a bunch for them and normally get several out there when targeting them, so just a thought if you wanted to try the saint Croix but that’s your choice. I’m willing to pitch in on bait and boat/vehicle gas. I live in the the south metro.
