This is kind of last minute but one of my cousin’s cannot make the trip this year so we have an open seat if anyone would like to go. My other cousin is leaving the Antigo area around noon on Thursday, making a stop in Eau Claire around 2:00 – 2:30 and through the cities around 4:00.
License is $70 for a season, $20 a night for the shared cost of the house that we rent, 1/4 cost of gas, and 1/5 cost of food. My other cousin is coming from Sioux Falls on Friday morning.
2 boats, 20 ft Lund, 20 ft ranger, we will fish 2 people out of the Lund and 3 out of the ranger.
Food is usually about $20-$25 per person, $100 for the house, bait is about $10 per person, gas is cheaper this year but is usually the biggest cost. Full trip usually runs about $350- $400. Oh yea it’s BYOB and we like to play a little poker in the evenings if were up to it.
We pack sandwiches for lunch and generally fish all day and quit early enough to have time to clean fish and eat before dark.
