Is Two Harbors the only ramp open from Duluth?

Yes it is. Unless you have a 12’ boat you can carry down. Then you can drop it in anywhere.

There were people out yesterday via the Two Harbors ramp. Some thin shale in there this morning with flurries but there are 9 guys on the breakwater casting so something is in there to fish for.

I missed you biggill, but had a feeling if you knew they were still launching from there you’d show eventually. We’re not due to go back up until mid-March but I’ll have a rod with me.

Looks like they are all locked up now. Maybe the warm weather this weekend will open up TH again? We’ll see.

Lots of easterly wind in Two Harbors yesterday afternoon had the ice in the harbor rolling and grinding pretty good as seen from the depot cam. I didn’t get the boat launch cam in the afternoon though but in the morning the ice looked packed in there pretty good.

Actually the winds have been NW or WSW the past 3 days up here (and blowing from the west again this AM), which I’m guessing is why the harbor filled up with floater icepack.
Temps are supposed to be mid 30’s for the next 4 days, but the wind is supposed to stay in a SW to NW westerly flow thru Monday too. The wall should be fishable (may head up sunday morning) but not sure the ramp will open up.

What do people usually fish with from the wall?
