I did like the fish data as it’s a lot easier to use than the DNR site. It would be very cool if you could filter out by what size species you are looking to target and get a list of lakes that have them. Also would be cool to see bottom hardness and vegetation filters

Have had both onx and gohunt for yrs.

Haven’t tried downloading the onx fish app, have an android system.

One thing I absolutely love about the onx system is being able to put pics on spots with info on each spot and being able to share those. A log book and photo option would be a huge reason for me to eventually get the onx fish system. Honestly don’t care if the maps are super accurate, but relatively accurate is important on newer bodies of water would be a big plus.

The most current lake data and info would be great. Local baitstores, lodging and campgrounds would be a big help.

Current regulations, limts and slot regs for each lake would be a huge plus.

Not sure I want spots and tips, but am sure that’ll all come eventually.

Be nice to have all the trout lakes and stream info as well.

Winter kill info would be helpful for a lot of lakes.

BWCA lakes info would be great and the ability to do that without cell service like the hunt app does with being able to download areas for off line use.

Sd cards for use in electronics would be nice down the road. Or for handheld units for the bwca especially. I know everyone uses their phones now, but a fair amount still like a separate GPS units, myself included.

Good luck with the project and sure they’ll be a lot of challenges with it, but about time someone takes the challenge on and can produce a product as good as the onx hunt system for fishing.

    Joel,
I have downloaded it (I phone). Lots of good info on it. Looking forward to SD being added as well.

Is it going to end up with its own subscription or is it going to be tied to OnX hunt?

I see Wisconsin is now live. Hopefully they will be live with ND soon. Ice fishing is only a couple of weeks away!

Joel, good to see you are still alive.

Just tossing out a few things from dream land

Bluetooth interaction to H/bird, Lowrance, Garmin…. for integrating waypoints and map overlays LMAO like any would give up proprietary software info

Great lakes edition that provides thermal satellite image overlaid on contour map screen for chasing water temp pockets/upper level thermoclines

Ability to add details into contour lines – adding what’s missing in some HD maps for private viewing

Tied into river guages for stage/flow/prediction/ and temps

Filter for fish survey info allowing to search population density, size, and survey method

Hey Joel. I was just getting caught up on my podcasts and have been listening to the JMO episode you were on earlier this month. I checked out the web app version and it looks great. Any update on when the app will be available on Android?

    Thanks!
