Ontario Boating Reg?

    Can not find any information as to what Ontario requires me to have in the boat to be legal. Anyone know the list or have a link to the information? Thanks, Jason

    It was a whistle, flare, and approved life jackets. However it’s been a few years.

    Boating regs in Canada fall under federal jurisdiction not provincially try# or the email below they will help you out, or p*#% you off grin

    paddle or anchor
    50′ of floating rope with throwable device attached.
    waterproof flashlight
    sound signalling device, whistle or horn
    approved life jacket for every person on board(not a cushion!)
    bailing can or hand pump, (not the boats bilge pump)
    If you have a built in gas tank a 5 BC fire extinguisher
    Depending on the size of the vessel flares may be required.
