    I never use starting batteries in a boat. Use the largest deep cycle AGM battery you can afford/fit. Especially if you are sharing the load with your electronics. An AGM has plenty of cold cranking amps and can handle a deep cycle type current draw for a long time. Put a low current draw on a starting battery and it’s dead in no time. Once it is draind you will never get it’s full capicity back. I only buy AGM batteries for everything I own now.

    Onix requires alot of voltage, almost double what the Legacy/Helix lines require…
