    Rewind to one year ago today… these photos where taken at Everts Resort.

    Mother Nature sure does keep us guessing.

    The photo of the picnic table floating down river was taken from the inside of my camper.
    I was boating down the road in front of the campers at this time last year.

    And we would consider that to be more “Normal” than this year’s spring!!

    I do enjoy looking at river shorelines and noticing the past years high water marks!

    The hard core walleye guys and some of us catfish guys are taking photo’s of certain structure and marking them for the next higher water event.

    These can be your own “secret spot”.

    I’m not going to lie – i kind of cheat and just survey the water while fishing…Then i find “The spot on the spot, and then i anchor on the spot that is on the spot on the spot, It’s pretty simple really”

    Then i wait for someone with 2D sonar to drive directly over my fishing lines trying to figure out what is causing that current break that i’m sitting on lol. Happened saturday.
