I’ve been wanting to get up to this area for the last two years now…Every time I would have it planned, something dumb would happen or something would come up and I would have to cancel….FINALLY made it up there for this video though!
Had a great time with my buddy/teammate Remy! Strange fishing though to say the least…All of our bites came in the smack dab middle of the lake, and most of them were probably around 20+ feet deep…Tried dry flies, dropper hopper rigs, and some nymphing from shore and got nothing. After Remy smashed 3 out in the middle, I decided to get my belly boat out…Problem was…NO FLIPPERS! Forgot them at home😩 Had to do some scissor kicking action constantly to gain any traction…Also was going against the wind which was fairly rough that day. A good size canoe flipped, everyone was ok though at least!! Caught some fish and went back in to shore since my legs were overworked!
All in all, got some good fish, some cool b-shots/underwater shots and got some great drone footage! Just had to put in a little/lotta work for the fish😂🤣 Hope you guys enjoy the video! Had a blast editing this one!
