one of many reason why I fish

I headed out at 9am this morning to hit a local lake that an IDO’er turned me onto for some numbers of crappie. The only other person out there as I popped some holes was a Hmong dude who asked if I spend any time on that lake. We briefly shared some info on what was working and a couple hours later he dropped by and handed me a nice tungsten jig and some cool
looking plastics. He said he felt bad for popping an 11 and 12”
crappie out of a couple of my holes. I told him all good and glad he found some nice ones. He could have just packed up and hit the road but its nice to see guys contributing to each others success and and paying it forward!!!

That’s cool. Some of the best guys I’ve met have been on the ice or at the landing!

The true die hard fishing community is some of the best people that walk the earth – if you can’t trust a fisherman you can’t trust no body , meaning , I haven’t found a true fisherman I didn’t have some sort of faith in .
