I tried that with my ATV and thought it was going to be brilliant, but it didn’t work out as planned. The hitch hits the ground due to the sharp angle of the ramp and I wasn’t able to ride the ATV up into the truck without scraping the heck out of the carrier.
I would suggest building something for the back tires of the atv to sit up on when its in the bed of the truck, then slide the single fish house underneath.

I am guessing you already have your tailgate open to have the atv in the box of the truck with a 20″ tool box and a 6.5′ box so I am thinkign the cargo container gets rulled out so I think the options would be a trailer or way to fasten the house to the top of the tool box and/or atv. Take the tool box out and you might be able to use the cargo carrier.

I would mount the fish house to the back of the wheeler rack by using an identical sled as the house and mount that permanently, custom mount.

I have the same clam, and box size, you can do it, the tool box has to go, wheeler in truck, tail gate down ,clam sets on end tip clam up to atv . and strap the clam to the wheeler Put a box on the front rack of the atv, to put your fishing stuff in. ramps under atv, before clam gets strapped down. whew. lol

Seen this on YouTube awhile back, not sure if it work for what you are trying to do or not. Look up Mad Ramp on YouTube.

I am actually thinking of next truck being a long box for this very reason. Four wheelers have gotten so big it makes it difficult.

The way Henpecked has his is pretty nice, but most guys have newer/larger atvs that are 6.5’+.
As others said your toolbox has to go probably. Also, you could possibly buy/make a rack on your atv that holds the shack. Check out how dave genz and the ice team guys have shacks mounted on the back of their snowmoblies.

Is there any reason you can’t just strap the shack to the back rack of the wheeler?

I had the same issue in my truck so I extended the rear rack of my wheeler and it works great. The only time I pull it behind the wheeler is when I have someone else riding on it with me otherwise it rides on the rack.

I feel like if I saw Bryan’s rig heading down the road I’d be slightly confused. I see auger, flip-over and wheeler, but he is pulling a boat? Looks like he is heading to some fishing paradise where there is safe ice and open water.

Your gonna be setting on the tailgate as is so a cargo hauler in the hitch won’t work. Look for a cheap trailer. I put my ATV in the back of the truck as it has a topper on it.

I thought about extending the back rack on my wheeler but I have a cargo box on it now that I keep my tow ropes jumper cables and air pump in,I think I would have to ditch that to extend the rack

If not the same one, can you put a cargo box on the front rack for those items?

This will work… It will cost you though.

That’s funny I wish I had some secret spot that I could use either or all the time! That was the only picture I could find on my phone, that wasn’t even my boat that’s the best part.

You should be able to make it so it does not affect the area you already have the cargo box. The shack would sit behind the existing rack. If you don’t have experience with welding or metal fabrication like me, this will obviously be easier said than done. Shappel was making a rack but they discontinued it. Try searching Google images for some ideas. “Ice shack rack”
