I figured I would post one more shot of some beautiful crappies before we are dominated by opening weekend walleye pics. Make no mistake I will be out after walleyes myself! There is a lot of water on Leech Lake right now around 58 to 60 degrees and not just limited to protected bays. The panfish bite has been very good on days when the weather is in your favor. That may change some as the water warms just a little bit more. I would imagine the walleye bite on Leech will be excellent this weekend, but don’t forget about the other trophies that are available right now! Please catch and release…the number of boats chasing these beauties has been quite high.

    Good Luck!

My dad’s up there sending me pics to. Says it reminds him of Red back in the day, not necessarily numbers but quality.

    Great fish guys!
