    Again, it depends on how you define hits. He never made it on the US pop charts again, but he had several songs on the US and Euro adult contemporary charts including Walk Through This World which I believe made it to #1 on the US adult contemporary chart.

    I would argue that the golden age of the true one hit wonder was the US charts in the early days of rock and roll. Looking at Billboard and Cash Box charts from 1955 onward, sure you see icons like Buddy Holly, but you also see many, many artists who were never heard from again.

    Love tunes from this era – a clear missing one-hit wonder from this list is the tune “Stars” by Hum. SUCH a banger!

    Side note – they actually reunited and put out a new record in 2020 called “Inlet” Front to Back it absolutely slays. Check it out!
